🎸 Import Tab

Browser helper for converting Ultimate Guitar text into SongForm before ingest

Instructions:

  1. Copy the tab content from Ultimate Guitar (or any text-based tab)
  2. Paste it into the "Tab Input" box below
  3. Click "Convert to SongForm"
  4. Review any warnings before copying or downloading the SongForm output
  5. For the canonical repo workflow, save the raw source locally and run npm run ingest:songform -- --input path/to/song.txt --format uga
  6. UGA exported PDFs are supported in the CLI only, and only when the PDF contains selectable text
  7. Successful ingests create canonical .sform files in /songs and archive the raw source in /archive
